| # | PD array | Backing basis | Precision entry |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | BPR | Two overlapping FVGs — dual imbalance | BPR CE (overlap midpoint) |
| 2 | OB + FVG overlap | Resting orders + imbalance at one price | FVG CE within the OB zone |
| 3 | OB alone | Resting institutional orders | OB CE (body midpoint) |
| 4 | FVG alone | Displacement imbalance residual | FVG CE = (C1 wick + C3 wick) ÷ 2 |
| 5 | Volume imbalance | Body-to-body gap — partial | Gap midpoint (C1 close + C2 open) ÷ 2 |
| 6 | Rejection block | Wick absorption — demonstrated | Wick midpoint or boundary |
| 7 | Mitigation block | Partially consumed OB — reduced | Remaining zone midpoint |
| 8 | Propulsion block | Continuation OB — distribution-aligned | Propulsion block CE |
Price has NOT yet returned to the zone. Maximum probability reaction. Enter from the CE or on LTF CHoCH. Chart marking: full colour saturation.
Price entered the zone and reacted (LTF CHoCH formed) but did not trade through. Reduced but still valid. Require stronger LTF CHoCH for the second reaction. Chart marking: 70% saturation.
Price traded through the full zone without meaningful reaction. Not valid for the original direction. May convert to a breaker block (opposite direction) or IFVG. Chart marking: remove or grey out.
From the OTE zone (0.62–0.79), the IRL/ERL map, and the premium/discount framework. This defines the price area where PD arrays are entry candidates.
In priority order: BPR first, then OB+FVG overlap, then OB, then FVG. Check each for: (a) fresh status, (b) correct P/D position, (c) proximity to the 0.705 OTE level.
Set a limit at the PD array CE. Wait for the LTF CHoCH within the zone as the market entry trigger. Stop beyond the array’s far boundary. Target the AMD ERL.
Once a zone has been traded through without reaction, its institutional orders are consumed. It is not valid for the original direction. Always check freshness before entering.
A bullish OB above the CE is buying in institutional selling territory. Discordant P/D position is a signal to reassess the AMD direction, not to enter.
When multiple arrays coincide, the priority ranking determines which to enter from. The BPR CE takes priority over an adjacent OB boundary. Higher priority = more institutional backing = higher probability.
A PD array is a location, not a guarantee. Without AMD alignment, HTF structure, kill zone timing, and LTF CHoCH confirmation, the PD array is just a zone on a chart. Confluence is what converts it to a high-probability setup.
Lio has traded ICT and Smart Money Concepts on forex majors and US indices since 2021 and built LiquiditySweeps.com to teach the framework the way it should be learned: in sequence, on real charts, with free live tools instead of paid indicators.
