Complete the checklist: weekly AMD, daily bias, PDH/PDL, Asian range. Set KZ time alert. Patience type: ZERO — active preparation is the task. Mental anchor: “The work is done now. My KZ job is observation, not analysis.”
Watch the sweep. Record sweep extreme. Do NOT enter. Patience type: ACTIVE OBSERVATION. The sweep is Phase 2; your entry is Phase 3. Mental anchor: “Every pip of the Judas is the institution creating my entry context.”
Watch for MSS displacement. Mark FVG. Calculate CE. Place limit. Patience type: ACTION WINDOW — the patience phase is over. Entry either fills or it doesn’t. Both outcomes are valid.
If filled: manage per plan (50% at PDH, trail on 5M BOS). If not filled: session complete, no alternative entry. Patience type: HOLDING — the partial protocol determines exit, not a feeling of “enough.”
Close ALL at market. Close charts. Session done. Patience type: ZERO — the alert fires, the session closes. No decision. Mental anchor: “Any move I see now is tomorrow’s context, not today’s opportunity.”
“Can I resist entering during Phase 2?” is willpower. “Phase 2 is not my entry phase — there is nothing to resist” is structural. The FVG cannot be placed before the MSS creates it. Waiting is not discipline — it is a logical constraint.
A 30-pip sweep with large momentum candles into a prior OB = high-quality AMD confirmation. An 8-pip dip barely touching the Asian low = lower-quality. Active note-taking during the sweep converts passive waiting into AMD quality assessment.
Pre-session done. Session attended. No qualifying AMD. No trade. $0 P&L, $0 risk. Journal: “Session successful.” The word is intentional and accurate. Forcing a trade converts the correct $0 outcome into an expected negative one.
At 02:20 EST under live price pressure, analytical quality is objectively lower than at 01:30 EST without price pressure. Every in-session impulse to deviate is generated at lower quality than the plan itself. Trust 01:30 over 02:20.
A patient FVG CE entry loses at the expected 35–45% rate. An impatient entry loses at a higher rate AND with worse RR. Over 100 trades: patient series has higher expectancy. The reward is expectancy improvement, not outcome guarantee.
Q1: Did I complete full pre-session analysis before KZ opened? Q2: Did I observe the Judas without entering during Phase 2? YES = patient execution. NO = patience failure with specific cause identified.
Q3: Did I wait for the MSS displacement before placing the limit? Q4: Did I hold the limit at FVG CE without moving it upward to “catch the entry”? Moving the limit = chasing at a structurally weaker price.
Q5: Did I respect the KZ exit (05:00 EST Model 1 / 11:00 EST Model 2)? Target: 5/5. Acceptable: 4/5 with the single failure identified. Below 4.0/5 across 30 sessions = patience is the primary edge leakage source.
Open a notepad. Write: time of Asian boundary break, sweep depth (pips), candle character (large-body vs choppy), whether sweep extended significantly or barely touched. Converts passive watching into AMD quality assessment work.
Move away from the chart during 02:00–02:33. Set a TradingView alert for 02:33 EST. Return at the alert. Removing the visual stimulus of the sweeping price is the most effective single technique for eliminating Judas FOMO.
A bullish day with the Asian low being swept is not price going against the thesis — it IS the institution executing Phase 2 of the bullish thesis. A 25-pip sweep = 25 pips of SSL collected = stronger Phase 3 delivery. Bigger sweep = stronger signal.
“The Judas looks done. I should enter now.” But the MSS has not formed. The FVG CE does not exist. Write before each session: “My entry is the FVG CE after the MSS. The FVG does not exist before the MSS. No entry during Phase 2.”
First trade closed at PDH at 03:50. “One more before 05:00.” The second entry is outside the primary delivery window, after Phase 3 is completing. Fix: close the 5M chart immediately after the first trade. Charts not visible cannot generate FOMO.
Position 35 pips in profit at 05:00. “So close to PDH. 10 more minutes.” Fix: when the alert fires, click “Close at market” BEFORE reading any chart. Close first, look second. Reverse the order of operations.
